Barclays Center is part of a larger, 22-acre master plan at the pivotal intersection of Flatbush and Atlantic Avenues in the heart of Brooklyn. The design brief called for an 18,000-seat home for the NBA New Jersey Nets, convertible for NHL games and concerts. Michael led a team developing and documenting various aspects of the project as a member of the Gehry Partners design team. He also developed project standards and automated procedures, reducing production time.
