The New Media School design channels energy into a network of spaces that promote creativity and interaction. The constant motion of energy, people, and ideas shapes the space into a fluid continuum. The media workshops and seminar rooms are eddies within this constant flow of information. This flow is directed into the performance space at the core of the structure. The New Media School represents the convergence of ideas and practices that comprise media culture in the 21st century.
Michael co-designed this entry in an Association for Computer Aided Design in Architecture (ACADIA) competition, collaborating with Jessica Voigt. The entry took third prize in the competition.
